I am a licensed psychologist in New York City and have been in private practice for over 25 years. In this time, it has been my privilege to be a part of the process of self-exploration and personal growth of many courageous and resilient people.
My goal is to help identify and understand what interferes with greater satisfaction and peace of mind in patients' personal and professional lives.

I am psychodynamically trained and over the years have incorporated cognitive behavioral and mindfulness techniques in my work. I find that being flexible, in an accepting, non-judgmental atmosphere, expands the possibilities for a positive experience in psychotherapy.
I provide individual psychotherapy with an openness to include significant others when appropriate. Among other presenting concerns, I treat young adults and adults of all ages who struggle with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship/family problems, and sexual identity.
SESSIONS
Sessions are 45 minutes in length. A longer session is an option depending on individual circumstances. Our sessions are most often on a weekly basis, but greater frequency can be arranged as needed. Please contact me to discuss fees.
INSURANCE
I am currently an in-network provider for Aetna, Empire BCBS, and Horizon BCBSNJ. For all other insurance coverages, I am an out-of-network provider and encourage you to determine what your benefits are for out-of-network psychotherapy. An insurance statement will be provided for your submission.
USE OF TECHNOLOGY
As of March 2020, I am providing remote psychotherapy services exclusively. I plan to work remotely for the foreseeable future.
